Glasgow Fair memory
The Glasgow Fair always brought a spate of relief trains to Queen Street Low Level. These were timetabled trains as opposed to diversions and were pathed in between the Blue Trains with a maximum window of 9 minutes. In July 1972, Type 2s 5065 and 5313, later Classes 24 and 26 take an Inverness to Queen Street train through Partick Hill meeting a westbound Blue Train approaching at the site of the present Partick station.
