Description:: I saw a pic of Ann Glen in the HERALD recently on the Broomhill extension of the Speyside Railway. It prompted me to dig out this shot of the excursion which ran from Aberdeen to Aviemore on 2nd November 1968 to mark the complete closure of the Speyside Line that weekend. This is the train headed by D5313 at Towiemore with the distillery (what else?) in the background.
