Description:: Colder than -7 wind-chill (with 40-50mph winds), a hike from home promised great things when I found these drifts, at MP 138 on the FNL, between Altnabreac and Scotscalder (can't remember the bridge/culvert number). Hoping to witness '419 smashing through a few drifts, my heart sank when I heard it couldn't get North of Forsinard due to frozen points (and failed PIS). This would've been 'the shot' for me ;) Being out for almost 7hrs, there's nothing worse than trudging through difficult snow with nothing in the cameras to show for it!
