1st October 1993 saw the reintroduction of passenger services over the Carmyle Line with a service from Glasgow to Whifflet and the reopening of stations such as Carmyle and Mount Vernon closed in 1964. Surprisingly the first official train was at 1313 and this is it waiting to leave Glasgow Central worked by Class 101 MetCam unit 101694. In true BR fashion the destination screen reads Paisley Canal........
