Description:: Current south view at Dunblane as of 19.05.23. There is a rule now that if you are playing about with an island platform you have to have at least four metres width. These semaphore ground disc signals (DB49 Down Main and DB51 Down Loop) will soon be gone replaced by two aspect red / green lightweight post signals using the same notation just off where the platform cut is. The free end coils of new cable are starting to stack up on the Up Main side. Next to the stanchion below DB14 is the Car Stop for 9 car HSTs (Class 800s stop at the end of P.1) and 'ZZ' for the sleeper hence the red 'Do Not Alight Here' sign for passengers.
