DRS use their class 20's on nuclear flask trains from Carlisle to Hunterston and Torness. These are often either worked by pairs of class 20s, with the class 20s' nose to nose, or with a class 37. However their visits to Scotland are few and far between.

Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway

The Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway has a class 20, 20020 (previously D8020), which sees regular use on the railway either on the last departure of the day from Bo'ness or on diesel days.
