Class 185 - Platform Restrictions
- Glasgow Central: Unrestricted. (Platform 4 cleared February 2009).
- Barrhead: Platform 3 - Prohibited.
- Kilmarnock: Platform 1 - Prohibited.
Speed restrictions
- Maximum speed: 100mph
- Class 185s cannot use HST, MU or Sprinter differential speed restrictions
- Law Junction to Uddingston Junction via Holytown: 60mph Maximum
