Haymarket is the base for First ScotRails fleet of Class 170s and 16 Class 158s It carries out maintenance, fuelling and train preparation. Currently a new "turbostar excellence depot" is being built to the east of the current train shed. It will specialise on every thing to do with Scotrails biggest fleet.
